Nurse Tank Test and Inspection Training: May 28th, 2026

Art Fleener retired USDOT Hazardous Materials Program Manager and Tom Bryant with 19 years of experience in testing Nurse tanks, cargo tanks and responsible for compliance at multiple tank shop locations will be teaching a 1-day nurse tank testing and inspection workshop on May 28th at the Gilbert Community Room, just 2 miles North of Ames, Iowa.

The class is interactive and engaging. This class will benefit your company and provide the information and training that is needed for you to properly test and inspect nurse tanks.

Make sure your folks have great training and are very knowledgeable on cargo tank testing.

Key topics covered in-depth include requirements outlined in 173.315(m), testing of cargo tanks including:

• Registration Qualification Training

• External visual inspections

• Pressure tests

• Thickness test

Cost for the class is $300.00 per student if paying by credit card.

The Gilbert Community Room address is located at 105 SE 2^nd Street, Gilbert Iowa. There is a large selection of hotels in the Ames, Iowa area a short distance away.  Class time will be 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Thursday 28th of May.
